The Streaming Giant Selects Spot-On Actor for Bentham in the Hit Series Third Season
The Secret Organization is geared up to make a major impact in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, even if the true confrontation won’t take place until the third season, and a beloved, popular member has recently been selected.
Netflix announced this week that the skilled actor will appear in the One Piece season 3 cast and will portray Bentham. Bon Clay has the ability to change into an identical duplicate of any person they’ve made contact with with their main hand. The actor, who is identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, will portray a rendition of that character reimagined as non-binary identifying, instead of as a drag artist, in the real-life adaptation, as in the initial comic and anime.
This performer joins a number of new cast members tasked with bringing the group to the screen, including leader Sir Crocodile, brought to life by the well-known actor, a talented actress as Miss Goldenweek, and an accomplished actor, who will appear as the ensemble as the ruler of the fictional land.
Although the role is a major member of the organization, the character will be introduced in One Piece the upcoming installment. Given season 2 likely to portray the Little Garden arc, this signals a significant shift in the timing of their first appearance, one that could signal more adjustments to the narrative framework.
The actor’s combination of excellent comedic sense and emotional depth makes them a standout choice for the role. Besides their recent voice performance in the animated coming-of-age film Boys Go to Jupiter, they received high praise and multiple awards for writing and starring in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, highlighting the versatility they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s highly regarded characters.
The streaming service’s real-life One Piece program is scheduled to come back for its next installment on March 10, 2026.
